Burden

How long can one be a burden on a friend's shoulder?

Not too long.

I suppose the core of the reality of all the problems came to my mind at a rather high cost. It breaks my heart to see you upset, especially when the cause has been me. I can't see though, why it has been so hard for me to find out that no friend, no matter how close, could carry a burden on their shoulders for too long.

You always gave me hints. I was too stupid not to be able to see.

I only hope it isn't too late.
